BECOME A TRUSTEE
Making sure Harborne Library building has a secure future requires the hard work of the Trustees. We will need the right skills and above all enthusiasm to be part of this important project. By being a Trustee you will have the opportunity to ensure the future of The Library.
WHY BE A TRUSTEE?
We are initially set up as a steering committee. Now we need to expand our skill set. Have you been a Trustee or a Committee member of a group or organisation? That is not a prerequisite though. Becoming a Trustee is an opportunity to expand personal skills.
WHEN DO WE MEET
Trustees will meet on a monthly basis usually in the evening. So far our meetings are usually about an hour and a half.
WHAT SKILLS ARE WE LOOKING FOR
Our constitution allows for 12 Trustees. These are some of the skills or experience we would like.
Building maintenance
HR and safeguarding
IT and digital skills
Social Media, PR
Secretary
Fundraising
Architectural
Legal
Event management
